Invitation
Let’s take a moment of stillness to prepare our hearts for worship and God’s Word. Invite God to speak to you in all that follows.
Opening Psalm (PSALM 90:12-17)
Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
Relent, Lord! How long will it be? Have compassion on your servants.
Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen trouble.
May your deeds be shown to your servants, your splendor to their children.
May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands.
Prayer
Lord, as we dwell in this moment of affliction—when so many fear after their health and the work of their hands—we take up this Psalm as our prayer: Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Remind us how precious are the lives you have given us; remind us of your goodness and compassion; and remind us that you do indeed satisfy your people with your unfailing love. Even in these days of great uncertainty, may we ever sing for joy. Amen.
Worship
Feel free to join together in song with director of worship Michael Castillejos.

Intercession
Take a moment to intercede for the needs of our world. Feel free to use the prompts below or as the group feels led.
- Medical workers (physical protection, miraculous provision of supplies)
- Public health/political authorities tasked with making large scale decisions
- The sick and their families
- Financial provision for those affected by business closures
Generosity
During this time of uncertainty, we continue to worship through our giving as a confession that we trust God as our provider. It is our privilege to participate in extending His love to others. As we prepare our hearts to give, let’s say this generosity prayer together.
Father, we thank you that true joy is found not in what we possess, but in the one who possesses us. As freely as you have blessed us, let us give freely and be a blessing to others. Amen.
Take a few minutes to practice generosity to Trinity Grace Church. You can give online. After giving, have someone pray for generosity and provision at TGC in this season.
Ministry of the Word
We invite you to now watch the video or listen to the podcast for a message from founding pastor Caleb Clardy.
Caleb Clardy, founding pastor of Trinity Grace Church, teaches from John 14–16 on the fifth Sunday of Lent, speaking from his office in Park Slope, Brooklyn on March 29, 2020.
Discussion and Prayer
Share what resonated with you. What do you sense God is saying? Take time to pray for and minister to one another.
Benediction
May our hearts not be troubled in these days of great anxiety, but may we believe in the one who is our way, our truth, and our life. Dwell in peace.
