Two popular platforms for video conferencing are Google Hangouts and Zoom.
Google Hangouts is a free service anyone with a Google account can use to host a video call (as opposed to Google Hangouts Meet which is a paid service designed for businesses). However, the non-business version does have a maximum of ten video participants.
Zoom has a free version but the calls have a maximum duration of 40 minutes. If anyone in your group has a Zoom Pro account, he/she can host and there is no limit on the duration of the call.
