Dear families,
Today we're back in-person (and available on-demand on our site as usual) and we're making GORP! That stands for Good Old Raisins and Peanuts... or Trail Mix for short. This is a great hands-on activity for kids of all ages; no adults required!
In today's story, we're learning how to choose goodness by helping others, sharing what we have, and saying kind words. All of these are wonderful ways we can show God’s goodness to the world. And, when we show God’s goodness, we shine like a light!

GORP / Trail Mix
Ingredients:
chocolate candies
pretezels
almonds
peanuts
raisins
peanut butter crackers
mini marshmallows
Method:
Combine ingredients (be creative... add spicy, sweet, sour, salty, or savory flavors to taste) in a large bowl and stir together until well mixed.
Fill individual bags by using a jar to hold open the bag (makes it easier to pour or spoon into the bag without spilling).
Keeps fresh in an airtight container until ready to enjoy.
