Kids Worship for October 31, 2021
Hello families,
Today is Halloween and we’re having a church-wide Park Hang this afternoon (3pm) just inside the 15th Street Entrance to Prospect Park. Please join us!
This week, our Kids Digital Lab episodes wrap-up our month all about courage and individuality… but these are important themes to talk about with your family all the time.
Try this: first thing in the morning, say to your child, “Good morning! Who is this wonderful person that God made?” It’s true… our elementary memory verse from Psalm 139 says “How you made me is amazing and wonderful.” And that is a reminder we all need to hear every single day!
Love,
Miss Elisa
This week’s preschool episode
All month, our preschoolers are learning with Miss Elisa that God made us to do big things.
Today we get to hear the story of David praises God (2 Samuel 6:12-15)... and focus on how we can celebrate that God made us to do big things.
Practice our preschool memory verse: Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid. For the Lord your God goes with you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
This week’s Elementary Episode
This month, our elementary kiddos are exploring with Miss Elisa that individuality is discovering who we are meant to be so we can make a difference.
Today's story is all about being one body but many parts (1 Corinthians 12:12-27) and learning that we can use our gifts together to make a greater difference.
Practice our elementary memory verse: How you made me is amazing and wonderful. I praise you for that. What you have done is wonderful. I know that very well (Psalm 139:14).
This week’s So and So episode
Every week, you can watch The So and So Show on-demand. It's a great way to revisit the elementary story and life application from Kids Worship during the middle of your week as a family.
In this week's episode: John, Brandon, Stephen, and Kellen explore the key question: What makes a great team?
