mourning loss together

Thursday May 31  |  7:30–8:30pm
Greenwood Baptist Church  |  461 6th Street at 7th Avenue

In the spirit of bearing witness to one another’s grief, we will be holding a special service of lament and memorial for those who have experienced loss and pain through infertility, miscarriage, still birth, and abortion.

There are women in our community who have these scars and wounds, often suffering in silence and grieving alone without a place to memorialize their loss. This service will create space for their cries of lament to be heard by God and for prayers of healing to be offered by His people.

This service is not only for women who have been through this pain, but for their husbands and loved ones, and also for the whole church family. Let us be a people who mourn with those who mourn and care for the brokenhearted.

Please note: childcare will not be provided, but families are welcome to attend the service together. This event is not recommended for young children; please use discretion.
