how to participate

Unlike our annual Easter Egg Hunt in past years, this will not be a gathering where a large group congregates or where eggs are passed around. Instead, we will hide a bunch of unique colorful Easter egg posters throughout the park and everyone who wants to participate can come through on your own timing.

What to Look For

Be on the lookout for small, medium, and large egg posters covered with stickers. Each poster has a number on the back (there are 36 total), including one small “golden egg.” You can find the posters inside the park along Prospect Park West between 3rd Street and 15th Street (but not any further into the park than West Drive). We recommend you look around these specific locations:

  • Third Street Playground (PPW and 3rd Street)

  • Litchfield Villa (PPW and 5th Street)

  • Harmony Playground (PPW and 10th Street)

  • Bandshell (PPW and 10th Street)

  • Bartel Pritchard Square Entrance (PPW and 15th Street)

How to Get a Prize Bag

Your family can go on your own hunt and capture a photo of each of the eggs you discover (make it a selfie! Or an “eggie!”). Once you have found as many as you can find, you can stop by our prize station (find us near the Bandshell… look for a big green welcome sign) and collect a free prize bag to take home and enjoy.

health guidelines

Remember when you visit the park to follow current guidelines, which are intended to promote the health and safety of all:

  • Wear a mask over your nose and mouth at all times.

  • Maintain physical distance and stay six feet apart from anyone not in your own household.

  • Stay home if you have COVID symptoms or exposure in the past two weeks.

  • Vaccinated persons are expected to follow these guidelines as well.

In the event of inclement weather, this event will be postponed until Saturday, April 3. Please check our website and social channels to confirm before you head out.
