Easter Worship

Sunday, March 31 — 10:30am
Middle School 51 (350 5th Avenue at 4th Street)

Join our church family as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the redemption of the world. Arrive early for Pre-Service Prayer at 9:45am. Kids Check-In begins at 10:15am. No youth group today.

You’re invited to enjoy refreshments together immediately following the service.

Easter Sunrise

Sunday, March 31 — 6:30am
Prospect Park (9th Street Entrance)

Please join us as we mark the beginning of Easter Sunday with readings, prayers, and songs. Plan to meet at the Lafayette Memorial (Prospect Park West at 9th Street) and then we will proceed together into the Long Meadow for the worship gathering.

In case of significant inclement weather, we will announce if this event has to be cancelled via our website and social.

 

 

Good Friday

Friday, March 29 — 7pm
Greenwood Baptist Church, Chapel (461 Sixth St - entrance on 7th Ave)

Join us for a meditative gathering of prayer, scripture readings, solemn music, and moments of silent confession and contemplation as we reflect together on Jesus' sacrifice through His crucifixion and death. All are welcome, but there is no childcare available.

 

 

Maundy Thursday

Thursday, March 28 — 7pm-9pm
TGC Office (506 5th Avenue, Suite 4)

Our Maundy Thursday observance will be a participatory journey. Drop by on your own or with friends and family between 7pm - 9pm. We will move through a few stations, including foot washing and communion, that take us through Jesus’ last meal and conversation with His disciples.

All are welcome.

 

 

Palm Sunday

Sunday, March 24 — 10:30am
Middle School 51 (350 5th Avenue at 4th Street)

Join our church family as we start Holy Week and commemorate the triumphal and peaceful entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem. Arrive early for Pre-Service Prayer at 9:45am. Kids Check-In begins at 10:15am. Youth Group meets at 12:30pm.

All are welcome.

 

 

Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, March 30 — 10am-12pm
Prospect Park Bandshell (Use the entrance at Prospect Park West at 9th Street)

Join your neighbors and friends at our Annual Easter Egg Hunt, complete with a massive egg hunt, games and crafts for kids of all ages (yes, adults too!). 
This celebration is free of charge and open to the public.
