Christmas Eve at Greenwood - Carols and A Quick Note

We are continuing our tradition of teaming up with Greenwood Baptist Church for our Christmas Eve service. We will begin by caroling on the street at 4:30pm and then the Lessons and Carols service will be at 5:00pm in the Sanctuary. It should be a beautiful evening. 

This fall Greenwood has done a study on the conflict in the Middle East. As a continuation of that and to take action in compassion they are going to be taking up a special offering during the Christmas Eve service to benefit an on-the-ground aid organization that helps suffering children in Palestine. They asked if we would be ok with this as it is an addition to what we normally do on Christmas Eve. Greenwood has been such gracious hosts to us over the years and we agreed. They will be leading the way in this offering. We are mentioning this now because we have already made quite a lot of asks of our church here at the end of the year. To state what may be obvious, you are of course welcome to simply attend on Christmas Eve with no obligation. 

We are greatly looking forward to this special night!

Childcare is not provided but children are welcome to attend the service with their parents.
