Did you know that nearly 25% of married parents divorce within 5 years of their first child’s birth? If you are navigating the transition into parenthood, we want to come alongside you to help strengthen and invigorate your relationship.

Led by a staff counselor trained in marriage and family therapy, and in partnership with Redeemer Counseling Services, join our Marriage Enrichment Group Workshop, based on the Bringing Baby Home Program by The Gottman Institute. Over the course of 2 days, we’ll teach pregnant and new parents the skills needed to encourage healthy, supportive family relationships while decreasing postpartum depression, relationship conflict and hostility.

The Bringing Baby Home program teaches couples to:

  • Increase friendship in their relationship
  • Deal effectively with conflict
  • Involve dads in infant care and parenting
  • Improve the quality of parent-infant interaction
  • Recognize the psychological and emotional needs of their child

Cost: $250/per couple, including materials, dinner and dessert (if cost is prohibitive, please inquire about scholarship funds)

For couples who would like personalized support for their marriage, we recommend couple's therapy with a trained Christian mental health professional. Trinity Grace Church works with several Christian therapists in our community and with various churches across New York City to provide care based on our shared biblical principles. To learn more about private sessions with a therapist, email our staff counselor Chanel Dokun (M.A., Marriage and Family Therapy) at and indicate you are interested in this option.

Cost: Varies according to practitioner and length of treatment
