Easter Worship

Sunday, April 17 — 10:30am
Middle School 51 (350 5th Avenue at 4th Street)

Join our church family as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the redemption of the world. Arrive early for Pre-Service Prayer at 9:45am. Kids Check-In begins at 10:15am. No youth group today.

You’re invited to enjoy refreshments together immediately following the service.

Masks are optional for everyone at our worship gatherings. Registrations are no longer required to attend. Learn more about our health guidelines.

Family Registration

Parents: please take a moment to register your family in advance for Easter Sunday so we can be prepared to welcome your child.

 

 

Easter Sunrise

Sunday, April 17 — 6:30am
Prospect Park (9th Street Entrance)

Please join us as we mark the beginning of Easter Sunday with readings, prayers, and songs. Plan to meet at the Lafayette Memorial (Prospect Park West at 9th Street) and then we will proceed together into the Long Meadow for the worship gathering.

In case of significant inclement weather, we will announce if this event has to be cancelled via our website and social.

 

 

Good Friday

Friday, April 15 — 6:30pm
Montauk Club (25 8th Avenue at Lincoln Place)

Join us for a meditative gathering of prayer, scripture readings, solemn music, and moments of silent confession and contemplation as we reflect together on Jesus' sacrifice through His crucifixion and death. All are welcome, but there is no childcare available.

Maundy Thursday

Thursday, April 14

Remember Jesus’ last meal with his disciples and his example of how to love one another. We encourage you to use this table liturgy in a group setting to share a meal, communion, readings, prayer, and foot washing.

 

 

Palm Sunday

Sunday, April 10 — 10:30am
Middle School 51 (350 5th Avenue at 4th Street)

Join our church family as we start Holy Week and commemorate the triumphal and peaceful entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem. Arrive early for Pre-Service Prayer at 9:45am. Kids Check-In begins at 10:15am. Youth Group meets at 12:30pm.

Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, April 9 — 10am-1pm
Prospect Park Bandshell (Use the entrance at Prospect Park West at 9th Street)

How many will you find? You’re invited to our annual scavenger hunt looking for a unique set of homemade Easter egg posters hidden throughout the park. This celebration is free of charge and all are welcome!
