Sharing the Gospel: The Engel Evangelism Scale
This extremely helpful scale frees you in sharing the story of God. Identify where on the scale your friend is, and then help them move just one step closer to knowing our gracious God (always listening to and empowered by the Holy Spirit, knowing that he has put you in this situation because you are best suited to share with this person). Citywide Worship Gathering
Every several weeks our neighborhood churches come together to cry out for a fresh work of God in our city. We invite you to join others from various walks of life in seeking God through prayer and worship.
Our last citywide gathering was Friday December 4, 7pm, at Bayard Rustin High School, 351 W 18th St between 8th and 9th Aves.
Hope to see you at the next one, and feel free to invite people from other churches. We are all people of New York and want to see God’s kingdom here.
Christmas Offering - $50,000 goal
This year we are taking up a special Christmas Offering to support some key initiatives for 2010:
- Diaconate Fund: To meet the practical needs of members of our community who have fallen on difficult times.
- Justice Fund: For justice projects organized by our missional communities.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 by December 31st.
To give online, just choose Christmas Offering from the list of funds; or write “Christmas offering” in the memo line of your check/on your envelope on Sunday.
