We have a new missional community in The Heights (Hamilton Heights, Washington Heights, Morningside Heights and Harlme). If you live in the neighborhood we would love to have you join us.
Third Thursdays, 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Church of the Intercession, 550 W 155th St. Map
Weekly prayer and service projects: check the webpage.
Missional Communities are groups of 30-50 people that work together for three things: to grow in our relationship with God and understand our identity in Him; to grow closer together in fellowship and relationships; and to serve our city in mercy and justice projects. Joining a missional community is the best way to get connected to our church. All are welcome.

Sunday September 20 after our Westside and Chelsea gatherings we will be hosting welcome events for our students: lunch after Westside (meet at PS 84 and leave from there) and coffee after Chelsea (downstairs at St Paul’s). All students welcome, bring your friends. RSVP to Vicky so we can have enough food.
We wanted to let you know that several of our justice partners here in the city are having events this fall.
Be the Change is a non-profit organization that provides education, mentoring and basic needs for the lives of children in Uganda, by offering housing, medical care, a village mentor, and monthly allowances for food and transportation. We want you to feel like you’re a part of our kids’ lives and stories, so our upcoming Be The Change fundraiser on September 18 will showcase original music and dramatic pieces telling stories from our children’s and staff’s lives.
Until then, we need jars of all shapes and sizes. So bring your jars to church on Sept 6 (any service) for a BTC rep to collect.
Be the Change Presents: WITNESS UGANDA
