June 2009 TGC church-wide survey
In June 2009 we did a survey of our whole congregation: Who are you, how old are you, what gatherings and missional communities do you attend, how long do you plan to stay in the city—and more.

Note that ”blank” genders in the legend above refer to people we don’t know personally, who have gender indeterminate names like ”Robin.”
Overwhelmingly, people who took the time to fill out the survey consider this church their home.
Of all survey respondents, more than half are involved in a missional community.
Of the 364 people who filled out this survey and called our church their home, almost two-thirds of these people are involved in a missional community.
Almost three-quarters of survey respondents have lived at their current apartment for less than two years.
More than half of survey respondents plan to leave their apartment in one to two lease cycles.
Plans to stay or not to stay in our neighborhoods are up in the air. We aren’t yet committed to the neighborhoods we live in.
Half of survey respondents have been here less than three years—which means that half of respondents have been here more than three years.
